Say goodbye
to
the hustle and bustle of Vancouver as we set sail for the far north on the first leg to Prince Rupert.

Following the Sunshine coast we will travel up to beautiful and well known Desolation sound. From here on the waters will narrow and we will enter the BC inside passage waters.

We will travel through Johnstone strait with possible stops in Alert Bay and the pretty village of Sointula. The Northern part of this straight is the home to several orca pods for which we will be on the lookout. Port Hardy will be our last port  on Vancouver Island. As we we travel further North we will be anchoring in a different spot every night and will be able to explore some of the most pristine wilderness in the world such as the world's largest intact rainforest the Great Bear Rainforest.

Yes the fishing is great in these waters and so is the crabbing.
We will be traveling through The Great Bear Forest where we will be on the look out for bears along the shoreline.

Prince Rupert our final destination is a typical BC fishing Town and will be a welcome sight after our 3 week voyage through some of the most pristine wilderness sights in the world.
